The Memories Remain

Assalamualaikum

Well, this entry should be posted two months ago actually. But hehe. Guess i dont have the chance and time (dont know why but i doubt this) to post it. But here we go. To those who are called, simply FRIENDS but meant so much to me.

Dear friend,

Well, I guess this is the time, right?

The time we never thought would happen

We are going on different paths

I mean really going this time..

Gonna create another phase of life adventure

Another album of memories

But I know,

For me,

There's nothing like "The past is forgotten"

Because I know

I will never find a FRIEND like you again

Thanks for the ice cream moment

For the run we had in the rain

Riding bike to the park

The 'stroll' we had around school when teacher wasn't around (we thought)
The late night chat
Late night homework hand photocopy (hehe)
The prep failed to be attended
The escape trial from the warden
The jokes, laughter and dreams that
Bring me to tears whenever I think of them now

Together, it seemed we cant help besides being ourselves

Which seemed to give troubles to others

But life is about being true to yourselves and making mistakes anyway

So go out there

Savour every ticking moment

Take risks

Speak bravely

Dare to fail

In short, make as many mistakes as you can

That way, someday
When others ask what you wanna be

You dont have to guess

You'll know


I guess I need to say this

Because you might not know
That I'm so glad you were always around when I need you

We've been enduring so much things together all this while

But nothing has ever been this hard

And still,
I don't want to say goodbye

What for?

You're gonna be in my heart forever anyway
